Should you wish to travel overseas for an extended period, you might want to consider working overseas to make your funds last a little longer.  Working abroad provides a wonderful opportunity to get to know a foreign country and to totally immerse yourself into the language and culture.

To work overseas, you will require either a work visa or citizenship in that country. If your parents or grandparents  were born in that country, you might qualify for a passportor at least have the right of abode, both of which provides you with the right to work.

If you qualify for citizenship in any European country, you will be able to throughout the EEC.  Commonwealth citizens under a given age can qualify for "working holiday visas" in other Commonwealth country.

If working abroad is of interest to you, contact the appropriate embassy in your home country or visit their website for more information.
