Berlin Germany is one of the
major hubs for several of the low-cost
European airlines. It is therefore possible to fly to Berlin from
many of the other European capital cities for under five euros (plus tax)!
Berlin has an excellent U-bahn (subway) and S-bahn (surface train) system
so it is easy to get to the major attractions, even if you are staying on
the outskirts of the city. Inexpensive multi-day travel passes are
also available.
